12 Hour Power!

Last night, Kaelin slept a full12 hours! I know, I am in shock as well! Kevin is amazing, he got her into her night time bath routine around 8:30 with a tubbie, massage and a bottle of mommy's finest. By 9pm she was sound asleep and in her crib. She only got up once at 5:30 for a quick meal and was back to sleep. She was up for the day at 9:30am.... yes 9:30! I can't believe I got to sleep in til 9:30!

First Church Outing

Today we had to attend noon mass in order to meet the priest and attend a baptism class for Kaelin's upcoming baptism on September 20th. Well our beautiful angel was exactly that.. an angel! She was all dressed up in her adorable polka-dot dress from Sarah with her cute pink sweater and was as good as gold for the entire 45 minutes of church! She looked around curiously and even eyed the crying baby in front of us thinking "What is his problem?" before falling into an angelic slumber. Kevin and I were so proud of her! We were definitely feeling like first rate parents and the envy of all the others in the baby room! Too bad she cried for an hour while we were trying to eat dinner... O well, you can't win them all!

1 Month Photo Shoot

On August 1st, Kaelin was a month old! I can't believe how fast that first month went by! She went for a check up at the pediatricians and she is now 8.15 lbs and 20 3/4 inches long! Wow! Here are a few cute pictures from her photo shoot with Mom!

Good Luck Jenn!

Today was a sad day. Kaelin and I drove up to Cambridge this morning to help Jenn Z with her final packing and to wish her well as she leaves for New York. Jenn will be attending Hofstra Law School this fall and we are so proud of her! We are going to miss her tons, but Liz and I are already planning our first visit! Jenn- good luck as you begin this new adventure!

I Don't Think We're in Brighton Anymore...

When Kevin and I first started dating, I was living in Brighton with Liz, Jenn Z and Vaness on Union St. Union St was right near the downtown area, and an access route for fire and police which were right down the street. On a daily (or nightly) basis, we would be woken up by police cars and fire engines racing down the street with sirens blaring.


Now that we live in Mansfield, this is what is disturbing our rest...

This week Kaelin and I were very busy! We celebrated Nana O'Neill's 95th birthday, Grandma came down to visit, had a play date with Lora and Dominic, visited with Great-Grandma Fernandes and Great-Nana Jencyowski, went on a few walks and enjoyed tummy time with Rocky!
